About Hunter’s Journey

In June 2023 Hunter, a quiet, fun-loving recent college graduate who loves the Lord, married his sweetheart - kindergarten teacher Marci in a beautiful outdoor ceremony surround by friends and family.

In October 2024, an incident of dysphasia (not being able to speak) lead to the discovery of a Grade 4 glioblastoma - malignant brain tumor. After a period of monitoring the tumor, Hunter underwent his first surgery late December 2024. Hunter’s loved ones praised God for the answers to prayer during that surgery; Hunter came through it very well with no neurological issues. A course of chemo and radiation followed which Hunter handled like a trooper, even continuing to work as an accountant. It was a day of celebration in early March when his treatment was completed! Praise God for his goodness and faithfulness during tough times.

Scans in April 2025 showed two spots of concern, resulting in surgery in June, shortly after Hunter’s 24th birthday. Again, Hunter came through the surgery well with little side effects. However, a post-surgery MRI showed a growing tumor in the other hemisphere. On July 2, 2025 Hunter underwent his third craniotomy to remove this rapidly growing tumor. Again, God saw Hunter through this surgery, though his speech has been impacted and his vision has been greatly altered. Please pray for Hunter and Marci as they navigate the implications of impaired vision.

Hunter and his loved ones continue to put their hope and trust in the Lord as they await the next step in his healing journey. Would you join them in prayer? Would you sign on for Team Hunter and faithfully lift him before the Great Physician?
